Pistol Permit Qualification

If you are looking to get your permit to carry, concealed carry, license to carry or whatever they call it in each particular state... this is the place for you! We can qualify you for Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Florida, or Utah resident or non-resident permits!

UTAH 30 State CCW Course

The UTAH non-resident pistol permit class will allow you to obtain a UTAH pistol permit that is recognized in up to 31 states if you live in RI, MA or CT. This is an excellent way to exercise your constitutional rights to carry a firearm in a number of states. This course assumes you know basic firearms safety and while there is no live fire to obtain this pistol permit, it is highly recommended that you are familiar with and/or certified to operate a firearm (live fire). Our NRA Basic Pistol Class is perfect to obtain that experience.

Required Equipment: None. We provide fingerprinting, application, addressed envelope, photocopy of your state ID, passport photo, and materials.

Additional Information: There is an additional $67.00 fee paid directly to the State of Utah for processing of your concealed carry permit. This permit is NOT valid in RI, MA, or CT.

RI Pistol Permit Qualification and Prep Class

We offer this class as either a qualification course if you are already familiar with operating a live firearm and can demonstrate that you are well versed in firearms safety OR as an add-on to our NRA Basic Pistol Class. Students are responsible for having their own firearm, ammunition, eyes and ears. We provide the targets (a warm up target and up to 3 chances to qualify) and the facility to shoot the course.

Required Equipment: Semi-automatic or revolver, 100 rounds, eye protection, ear protection.

Recommended Equipment: Speed loader for revolver, additional magazine, magazine holder.

RI Pistol Permit Qualification and MA LTC Class

Course Description: This five (5) hour class will help you accomplish a number of objectives. We will conduct the NRA Home Firearm Safety Course which is accepted by the State of Massachusetts for a License to Carry. You will also be able to shoot the Rhode Island Army L course which is required by the State of Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office for a Rhode Island Pistol Permit.

The Army L course is challenging and prior shooting experience is recommended. You will get three (3) attempts to pass the Army L qualification and upon successful completion, you will be certified with the caliber of gun you use. Students should bring a firearm, two (2) magazines, approximately 150 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, and your Rhode Island Pistol Permit Application. A holster is recommended but not required.

At the successful completion of this course, you will receive a NRA Home Firearm Safety Certificate, a Massachusetts Basic Firearm Safety Certificate, and be signed off on your Rhode Island Pistol Permit Application for the Army L course.

NRA Home Firearm Safety Class

Short Description:Non-shooting course and teaches students the basic knowledge, skills, and to explain the attitude necessary for
the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home.

More Details: This is a four-hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. Students are taught NRA’s
three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, course completion certificate.

This course qualifies you for your MA LTC Class A, B, and FID.

NRA Basic Pistol Class

Short Description: Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely.

More Details: This course is at least 9 hour long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and
semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet; take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

This course qualifies you for your Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine and Florida resident or NON-resident pistol permit licenses. THIS IS ALSO YOUR FIRST STEP TOWARDS BEING AN NRA PISTOL INSTRUCTOR!
